The late Walter Henry Bailey was a retired farmer from Wellington. Massey University established these bursaries from funds provided by the Bailey Bequest.

You can be enrolled in any postgraduate programme.

Eligibility criteria

You must be supported by a supervisor, head of department or other academic mentor who is familiar with your circumstances.

  • a personal statement illustrating your financial hardship. Please include as much information as possible to highlight your need, including incoming funds and outgoing expenses
