Ethics, forms and funding sources
Ethics, forms and funding sources for postgraduate students
Find out more about the Massey University Ethics Committee.
Your responsibilities as a researcher, and application forms, are in the Code of ethical conduct for teaching and research involving human subjects.
The Health Research Council Guidelines on Ethics in Health Research and associated forms are available at www.hrc.govt.nz.
The Statistical Package for Social Scientists (SPSS) software is available to Massey postgraduate students using a remote desktop application to connect to Massey computers running the software under the negotiated site-license. There is no charge for this type of access to SPSS or AMOS. Contact Harvey Jones for the most recent set of instructions for access to the software and methods to access data files for analysis.
Postgraduate supervisor agreement
If you wish to enrol in a research project or thesis, please complete and submit the Agreement to Supervise Postgraduate Research Form to the School of Psychology at the beginning of the semester in which you start your research.
Doctoral degree administration forms
Find information for prospective and current candidates for doctoral study at Higher research degrees.
Find information on scholarships and bursaries.
Research funding for master's and PhD projects is available through the School of Psychology. Funding assistance for students presenting at a conference may also be available.
The School of Psychology occasionally has funds to support students attending conferences. Funding is dependent on the submission of a manuscript to a journal for publication. Manuscripts should be co-authored by thesis supervisors, and evidence of the submission of manuscripts for review should be provided with the application.
