At Manawatū campus Operations and Security are located in the Facilities Management complex on Colombo Road.
For assistance with emergencies, security, parking or traffic incidents contact the Security Help Desk during business hours on ext. 85030, 06-350 5030 or 24/7 on 0800 6277 50.
The Community Constable is co-located with the Operations and Security Group and can be contacted on ext. 85042.
In the case of emergency or where an offence is taking place, emergency services (111) should be contacted immediately and a follow-up call made to the Security Help Desk who will dispatch Massey Security to assist emergency services.

Full time Manawatu staff and internal students with current Massey University identification have access to the Unlimited Access Bus Scheme (free bus) within Palmerston North city. This service is partially funded by Massey University parking revenue and the Horizons regional District Council.

If you wish to bring a vehicle on campus on either a regular or casual basis, pending availability, there are a range of available options for you to consider.
Parking and Traffic Regulations
As gazetted public roads cyclists and motorcyclists are expected to obey all road rules while on Massey University campus. While motorbikes and scooters may be ridden on University Avenue, they are not permitted inside University Avenue on the main campus.
Parking is provided for bicycles, scooters and motorcycles in a variety of locations around the campus. The major bicycle stands are:
Requests for additional bike stands may be made via the Security Help Desk.
From time to time schools, departments or event organisers may with to make temporary changes to the roading system in order to facilitate events, the installation of heavy equipment into building or to enable building work to be carried out. Any temporary changes to the roading system require a Traffic Management Plan (TMP) that must be submitted for approval to the Team Leader, Security and Traffic, 5 days prior. For further clarification please contact the Security Help Desk on ext 85030.
Approved Administrators may apply for access cards for staff and students via the Operations Service Desk.
Casual room bookings (i.e. bookings for events other than timetabled classes) may be requested by staff, students and members of the public. Please be advised that it is University policy that classes take priority over bookings for other purposes. Please note that the Operations Service Desk does not provide professional conference or event management services, the organiser is expected to manage all aspects of the conference or event and costs for the use of Campus facilities will be passed onto the organiser.
