A personal fitness programme is a great way to achieve your fitness goals using the expert advice of Massey’s qualified health and fitness instructors.
Our fitness instructors will create a personalised programme tailored to your goals and fitness level, designed to be fun, challenging and motivating. Your plan can be uploaded to the Technogym app, making it easy to follow, track your workouts and monitor your progress.
Getting a fitness programme
To book a session with one of our trainers for a program:
- Make your appointment at reception or book via our Technogym app.
- Fitness instructors are available throughout the day and in the evenings, 5 days a week.
- Each appointment is 1 hour in length, unless otherwise specified.
- Always come to your appointment ready to be active, wearing exercise clothing, sports shoes and bring a sweat towel and drink bottle.
- Appointments will be rebooked if you are more than 10 minutes late for your appointment.
- All Massey University Auckland Recreation Centre fitness instructors are REP registered.
- After 6 weeks of following your programme you can rebook in with a trainer for a programme update, to keep training interesting and challenging.

All activity areas close 15 minutes before the stated closing times.
