Duration: 150 hours. You will have 2 semesters to complete the course. For students enrolling in Semester 1, you will have until the end of Semester 2. For students enrolling in Semester 2, you will have until the end of Semester 1 in the following year.

Overview
UniReady is a 15-credit, 100-level, self-paced and fully online learning course designed to boost your readiness for university study. It covers essential skills and knowledge that are key for your academic success.
Who this course is for
The UniReady course is for ākonga (students) new to undergraduate study. It is a good way for you to build up the skills and knowledge you need to succeed. It is ideal if you have been away from study for a while, or you need a confidence boost.
Course content
The course covers:
- academic reading and writing
- critical thinking
- academic identity
- information literacy
- numeracy for university study.
Qualifications the course credits can be used towards
The 15 credits for this course can only be used towards qualifications that have room for elective courses. Certain qualifications, such as the Bachelor of Aviation and the Bachelor of Veterinary Science, have no room for elective courses. Therefore, the UniReady credits will not be able to be applied to those qualifications. Check your intended qualification course structure to confirm if an elective slot is available.
When you will receive your results
Results are processed at the end of each semester. If you do not complete or pass the course, it will not appear on your academic record.
