This scholarship was established by Allan R. Gibson in 1980 to provide assistance to deserving accountancy students. Mr Gibson was a Palmerston North chartered accountant who wished to recognise “the extremely valuable contribution Massey University is making towards the development of the accountancy profession in New Zealand”.

What you'll be studying

This is an undergraduate scholarship. You will be a second-year or third-year student enrolled in an undergraduate qualification with a focus on accountancy.

Eligibility criteria

You must be:

  • studying in a specific subject area
  • a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident.
