Massey University invites high achieving, excellent Chinese students to apply for PhD study in New Zealand with scholarship support from the China Scholarships Council (CSC) and the University. Our collaboration is designed to foster research cooperation between Massey University and Chinese universities by supporting doctoral candidates to undertake original research.

Massey University has a valued relationship with the China Scholarship Council as illustrated by our ongoing agreement.

Successful recipients will receive funding from CSC for travel, living and accommodation costs, while Massey University will support the tuition fee component.

When applying, you should select "State-sponsored postgraduate program for national construction of high-level universities", and for the names of available cooperation channels, please select "With New Massey University of Zealand Cooperation Scholarship".

Who we're looking for

We're looking for high-achieving Chinese students interested in studying a PhD at Massey University.

You will have applied for admission into the PhD and have a conditional or unconditional admissions Offer of Place, and have the support of your supervisor in applying for this funding.
