The Grace Kay Veterinary Scholarship was established by the trustee of the estate of Grace Edith Meliora Kay in memory of Grace and her husband, Allan, who used to farm at Orakau, near Te Awamutu.

Who we're looking for

We're looking for a New Zealand born resident who intends on working and residing in New Zealand after graduating.

What you'll be studying

This is an undergraduate scholarship. You will be enrolled in the Bachelor of Veterinary Science in your second, third, fourth, or fifth year of study.

Application checklist

Include the following with your application:

  • a brief statement on your future goals and career intentions, including where you plan on working after graduation.
  • an annual budget including all expected income and expenses. You must provide an annual income total and an annual expenses total. If needed, you may email scholarships@massey.ac.nz for a budget template for the undergraduate vet scholarships.
  • one academic reference from a lecturer at Massey University who teaches in in the Bachelor of Veterinary Science programme and is familiar with your capability.
  • one work experience reference from someone in the veterinary area who has worked closely with you
  • your CV
