The Manawatū District Accountants Education Trust Bursary was established in 2007 and is financed by the Manawatū District Accountants Education Trust.

Who we're looking for

We're looking for a final year undergraduate accountancy student who intends to pursue the Chartered Accountant designation in the area covered and serviced by the Manawatū District.

What you'll be studying

This is an undergraduate scholarship. You will be studying full time in a Bachelor of Business (Accountancy) or a Bachelor of Accountancy, or the Bachelor of Agribusiness.

Eligibility criteria

You must be:

  • a New Zealand citizens or permanent residents
  • internal students based at the Massey University Manawatū campus, or, be studying by distance and residing in the Manawatū, Horowhenua, Tararua or Rangitikei regions, within the Horizons Regional Council district.
  • enrolled full time in the second or third year of their study in a Bachelor of Accountancy or Bachelor of Business (Accountancy) degree.
    Applicants enrolled in the Bachelor of Agribusiness are eligible to apply if they have completed accountancy courses.
