The Nursing Bursary for Postgraduate Study supports newly graduated registered nurses within their first 24 months of practice to undertake postgraduate study alongside work by reducing financial barriers.
Who we're looking for
You will be a Registered Nurse working in the NZ Health and Disability sector and interested in undertaking postgraduate study.
What you'll be studying
This is a postgraduate bursary, you will be enrolled or intending to enrol in course 168.733 Physiology & Pathophysiology in semester one (February).
This grant is open to students who are enrolling in this course in semester one. If you are enrolling in semester two you should apply for the semester two round (opening 5 April).
Eligibility criteria
You will be:
- a newly graduated registered nurse within your first 24 months of practice
- a Registered Nurse (RN) with a current Annual Practising Certificate (APC)
- currently employed as a registered nurse in New Zealand
- enrolled or intending to enrol into course 168.733 Physiology & Pathophysiology

When selecting our recipients we will consider the benefit of the bursary in removing barriers to study.
