‘Piki Ake Kake Ake’ is a metaphorical term in te reo Māori that means to climb and to ascend. In the context of this scholarship, Piki Ake Kake Ake symbolises the hopes and aspirations of tangata whenua, by assisting four Māori students to excel in the Bachelor of Communication
