These scholarships have been established under the terms of the Will of the late Max Lawson-Smith, to help Massey University veterinary students.
Who we're looking for
We're looking for high achieving students who are active in the cultural and/or sporting life of their communities or campuses.
Eligibility criteria
You must:
- be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident
- be enrolled in specific programmes
- be in the third, fourth or fifth year of your degree depending on the programme
- have a proven community commitment
- have a grade point average as specified in this award's regulations.

When choosing our recipients, we will consider your academic achievements, good character and citizenship, and your involvement in the cultural and/or sporting life of your community or campus.
