What you'll be studying

This is an undergraduate grant. You will be in the fifth and final year of your vet degree.

Eligibility criteria

We're looking for fifth-year Bachelor of Veterinary Science students who are interested in working in mixed animal practice and are willing to attend practice in a Vet Central clinic in Australia for clinical placement.

  • A copy of your resume outlining your study history, work experience and previous placements.
  • A written statement of no more than 500 words outlining the following: Where do you see yourself as a veterinarian once you graduate; Are you interested in our Vet Grad Program (http://newgrads.vet) and if so, why; Are you interested in relocating to Australia upon graduation and if so where and why.

Selection considerations

When choosing our recipients, we will consider the following factors:

  • Desire to relocate to Australia upon graduate (30%)
  • Rationale for selecting a particular Vets Central practice (30%);
  • Interest in Vets Central graduate program (20%);
  • Demonstrated commitment to studies and academic merit (10%);
  • Passion for veterinary science and career path (10%).
