This scholarship is supported by a gift from Charles and Margaret Richardson, who farmed at Waitawhiti Station near Eketahuna. The scholarship is in memory of their sons, who both attended Massey Agricultural College. Graham Speedy Richardson was a member of the Royal New Zealand Air Force and died in 1944. Paul James Richardson was shot in a farm accident.
Who we're looking for
We're looking for an undergraduate student, preferably from the Wairarapa, studying agriculture or horticulture.
What you'll be studying
This is an undergraduate scholarship.
Eligibility criteria
You must be:
- studying a specific subject
- a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident
- studying full-time

- a statement on how receiving this scholarship would be of benefit to you and your study, and how you believe you meet the intentions of this award
- for 1st Year students, a copy of your High School results. For NCEA, go to the NZQA web page and on the My School Entries and Results page, click the 'view as pdf' (button on the right-hand side) to save this document
- a copy of your Massey University transcripts/current enrolment. You can download your Study History Report from the Student Portal, under ‘Results and Exams’.
