The Wildlife Society of the NZVA recognises the need for more new graduate vets to have the skillset in handling and triaging some of New Zealand’s native wildlife species. It is hoped that this annual grant will encourage a third, fourth or fifth year student to organise a placement in a chosen organisation where exposure to wildlife in a hospital setting can occur and experience gained.

You will be enrolled in the third, fourth or fifth year of the Bachelor of Veterinary Science and will have a proposed placement in a chosen organisation with exposure to wildlife in a hospital.
