Due the uncertainties of the COVID-19 pandemic, the class of 2022’s graduation ceremonies were postponed and qualifications for the Wellington graduation ceremony were conferred by Chancellor Michael Ahie on 12 April.

This week many of them will finally celebrate the end of their study journey and their entry into Te Kunenga ki Pūrehuroa Massey University’s alumni whānau by attending graduation.

There will also be events to honour Pacific graduates on Tuesday evening in the Museum Building, and Māori graduates on Wednesday morning in Te Rau Karamu Marae.

A total of 510 students will attend the ceremonies to acknowledge their achievement including 14 with doctorates and 80 receiving master’s degrees.
