Massey University’s te reo Māori name, Te Kunenga ki Pūrehuroa, is a symbolic reference to the knowledge journey. Te Pūrehuroa represents the infinite constellations of stars that radiate the skies above us, illuminating the acquisition of knowledge and a lifelong commitment to learning as a journey without end – from inception to infinity.
