Anyone can apply! All you need to do is create a 1-minute video telling us why you want to study at Toi Rauwhārangi.
Post your video on social media, tagging @toi_rauwharangi, @allaccesscoca, or @mataurangatoimaori and show us your passion, your vision, and your creative spark.
Post between December 1 - 15th tagging one of our channels above and let us know which programme you're planning to join, and you'll be eligible for consideration for one of 50 available scholarships!
What we're looking for
A panel from Toi Rauwhārangi will evaluate the videos based on your message and your creative approach and announce the successful scholarship recipients before the end of December.
There are 50 scholarships on offer, 10 per programme:
- Fine Arts
- Design (Concept, Fashion, Industrial, Integrated, Photography, Spatial Textiles and Visual Communication Design)
- Screen Arts (Animation, Documentary & Factual, Emerging Creative Tech, Film Production, Game and Visual Effects)
- Commercial Music (Industry, Practice and Technology)
- Mātauranga Toi Māori (available with all specialisations at Toi Rauwhārangi)

Eligibility criteria
This is an undergraduate scholarship. You will be entering your first year of a Bachelors Degree in Toi Rauwhārangi College of Creative Arts in 2026.
You don’t need to have enrolled yet, but if successful, your $1000 scholarship will be applied to your fees once you have begun study in 2026.
