The Massey University Return to Study Scholarship supports high achieving undergraduate students return to study following a break.
The scholarship includes a payment of $3,000 for full time students (enrolled in 60 credits in semester two) and $1,500 for students studying part time (minimum 30 credits in semester two) and support through the Scholars Massey programme of up to the value of $500.
Who we're looking for
We're looking for someone who started their undergraduate degree at Massey and has taken a break. You will be intending to return to your degree in semester 2, 2026.
What you'll be studying
This is an undergraduate scholarship. You will be enrolling, full time or part time, in an undergraduate degree in semester 2, 2026.
Eligibility criteria
You will:
- be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident
- have completed a minimum of 120 credits towards an undergraduate degree at Massey University
- be intending to enrol in an undergraduate degree at Massey University in semester two (July), 2026
- have not been enrolled at Massey University in semester one, 2026

When selecting our recipients, we will consider your academic achievements in your study at Massey to date. We may also consider your study load and time to completion when making our selection.
