Founded by Rob Craig and his wife Maree in 1983, Punchbowl has grown from its Patumahoe roots into a major player in New Zealand’s horticulture sector. The company name reflects the Craig family's 1860s settlement property south of Oamaru.

From a small 11-acre orchard, Punchbowl has become a horticultural powerhouse, combining cutting-edge technology with strong family and community values. Based in rural South Auckland, they operate orchards, a high-tech packhouse, and coolstorage facilities across Auckland and Northland.

As a family-hybrid business, Punchbowl’s mission is to ‘Grow Greatness’, delivering top-quality kiwifruit, investing in community, and fostering career growth. Their innovative fund supports educational opportunities for deserving students, helping grow future community leaders.
