About this study
Protein quality matters: 1 gram from 1 source is not equivalent to 1 gram from another.
Massey University in Auckland is running a research study on how different protein combinations influence lean body mass in older adults.
By taking part, you’ll receive valuable insights into your own health, including:
- Body Mass Index (BMI)
- HbA1c (blood sugar control)
- fat mass and muscle mass
- sustainability index (impact of your food choices on the environment)
- habitual protein intake (your usual diet)
- insights into how your body uses protein
- the differences between animal and plant proteins for your health.
This information can give you a personalised picture of your nutrition, health and ageing.
Please share this opportunity with friends or whānau who may be interested.
