About Massey University Foundation
We are a registered charitable trust that fundraises and administers gifts to the university.
We provide philanthropic funding for projects of strategic importance, including research, academic chairs, scholarships and infrastructure projects. This funding helps Massey achieve its goals and strengthens the university.
Our vision
The world faces enormous challenges. Climate change is bringing droughts, floods and food shortages. War and pandemics have impacted global economies and human health. Massey University is eager to contribute more leadership, skilled graduates, research and discovery to help solve these urgent challenges.
The “For a Better World” campaign has a goal of building Massey’s endowment fund to $100 million by December 2027, to mark its 100th anniversary.
The funds will be used to strengthen Massey’s academic offering in key subject areas and to provide scholarship. The campaign calls on alumni, staff, friends and supporters to invest in 3 initiatives to prepare Massey for solving major challenges in the next century.
