About Information Technology Services
Key to the success of the university, the Technology department within Information Technology Services (ITS) is responsible for the provision, maintenance, operation and security of information and communication technologies.
The Technology department is 1 of 5 departments in ITS. It consists of 4 teams:
- Enterprise Services
- Network and Infrastructure
- Applications and Integration
- End User Environment.

Our Technology department is an influential partner for achieving the university's strategy and goals. We lead the adoption of emerging technologies to support teaching, learning and university operations.
The team you will join is proactive – our vision is to keep the university leading in technology through intuitive, future-focused systems.
Enterprise Services
Enterprise Services Manage and operate key IT services.
The Enterprise Services team supports the university's strategy and operations by delivering, maintaining and evolving enterprise-scale IT services and platforms. We are the custodians of core systems and ensure they are reliable, secure, scalable and aligned with institutional goals.
Enterprise Services is responsible for these platforms:
- Identity and Access Management
- Microsoft 365
- Linux
- Microsoft Power Platform
- Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Database
- ITS Common Tools
- Common Business Tools
- Artificial Intelligence.
Network and Infrastructure
Network and Infrastructure Prepare the university for a transformed network.
The Network and Infrastructure team is responsible for services that meet the current demands of the university, while proactively preparing for future transformation. This includes:
- technology infrastructure such as networks, servers and storage
- underpinning physical and digital resources such as data centres, networks and servers
- virtual, hosted or cloud-based resources, including Infrastructure as a Service and Platform as a Service capabilities.
Applications and Integration
Applications and Integration Manage enterprise business applications.
The Applications and Integration team is responsible for the design, provision, operation, security and management of enterprise business and other key applications and integrations to support the university to deliver services.
Applications and integrations may be built internally or sourced externally. They must meet user needs while aligning with technology strategy and good practice including security, privacy and accessibility.
End User Environment
End User Environment Manage modern frontline environments for staff and students.
The End User Environments team is responsible for the design, provision, operation, security and management of the frontline operating environment used by university staff and students.
We ensure that our learning spaces, systems, laboratories and other environments are run on modern, intuitive and interactive technologies that work seamlessly.
