Rebecca Scott

I am one of the Business and Humanities & Social Sciences Librarians at the Auckland Campus. I provide face-to-face and online research and teaching support to the College of Business and the College of Humanities and Social Sciences through reference support, research consultations, information literacy workshops, library resources for Stream and collection development.

Previously, I was the Library Manager at AIS Auckland Institute of Studies from 2004 to 2019, where I developed the collection of print and electronic resources, catalogued, managed staff, the budget and strategic planning for the Library, as well as providing research and information literacy support for staff and students in the postgraduate MBA programme and undergraduate programmes for business, tourism, hospitality, IT, Foundation Studies, and English TESOL.  Prior to this role I worked at Auckland University as a Client Services Librarian in the Music Library 2002-2004, as an Information Specialist at ASB Bank’s Information Centre 2001-2002, and in the General Library of the University of Auckland’s Short Loan Collection in various library roles between 1996 and 2001.
