Massey University Climate Change Network
Introduction to the network
Many Massey scholars and students are involved in a wide array of research and teaching on diverse aspects of climate change, including basic science as well as matters relating to mitigation and adaptation. This work is being carried out across colleges and campuses.
The network currently has membership from the School of People, Environment and Planning, Institute of Natural Resources, Institute of Food, Nutrition and Human Health, Ecological Economics Research Centre NZ, School of Communication, Journalism and Marketing, School of Engineering and Advanced Technology, Institute of Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences, New Zealand Life Cycle Management Centre, Joint Centre for Disaster Research and the School of Psychology.
The distributed network is led by the Director of Sustainability, Dr Allanah Ryan and aims to facilitate interactions where there are potential opportunities for collaboration, improve awareness/knowledge of areas of expertise at Massey University and update staff about information and activities relevant to Massey staff and students.
