123.207 Molecular Chemistry (15 credits)
A broad look at molecular chemistry, focusing on structure and activity, and how this influences applications. Principles of bonding and stereochemistry will be discussed. Classic patterns of reactivity in organic compounds will be covered. Organometallic chemistry and its applications in catalysis will be examined. Complemented by a laboratory course.
One of (123.101 or 123.104 or 123.171) AND one of (123.102 or 123.105 or 123.172)
General Prerequisite: At least 45 credits from 100 level.
