The course emphasises empirically validated treatments and integration of psychotherapy research and practice across the lifespan. The course covers behavioural and cognitive-behavioural interventions, experiential and brief dynamic psychotherapies as well as other factors in therapy (e.g., the roles of therapist, client, and culture).
Note(s): This course has a restricted number of places available. If you have not been approved for progression to the clinical programme, your admission to this course cannot be guaranteed. Final selection for places will be determined by the School of Psychology in mid January.
Note: You may enrol in a postgraduate course (that is a 700-, 800- or 900-level course) if you meet the prerequisites for that course and have been admitted to a qualification which lists the course in its schedule.
