218.204 Construction Law and Contracts (15 credits)

This course will provide students with an understanding of the legal context and regulatory frameworks that govern practice in the New Zealand construction industry. The course introduces students to the legal practices and procedures in construction contracts, health and safety management, and dealing with digital construction enabled by new technological platforms such as the Building Information Modelling.
