227.107 Animal Behaviour and Welfare for Veterinary Science (15 credits)
An introduction to common ethical frameworks for animal use with a focus on domestic animal species principles of the behaviour and welfare of domestic animal species and the theory of safe and effective animal handling.
Note(s): This course is only available to students who have been selected into the BVSc programme. Students will be required to be at Massey University until the end of each semester. Travel plans should therefore be made on the basis of being at Massey until the semester end date unless and until the Undergraduate Programme Office advises that an earlier departure date will be permitted.
