The Relationship Between Self-Injury, Emotion Regulation, and Gender among Tertiary Students
My research examines the relationship(s) between self-injury, self-concept, emotion regulation and gender among Massey undergraduate students using both quantitative and qualitative methodologies.
I was born and raised in Auckland and after studying, living, and working in a variety of roles in Wellington and Spain, I returned to New Zealand to complete the Doctorate of Clinical Psychology at Massey Albany. I aim to work as a Clinical Psychologist after completing this qualification, and hope to specialise in working with youth and in the treatment of sexual trauma.
