The fourth number of the course code shows the level of the course. For example, in course 219206, the fourth number is a 2, so it is a 200-level course (usually studied in the second year of full-time study).
Each course is worth a number of credits. You combine courses (credits) to meet the total number of credits needed for your qualification.
Course planning information
45-credit core course for Bachelor of Design (Honours) Industrial Design students. This is the second half of the students’ self-selected projects, where products and systems proposed in 198.453 Industrial Design Research and Development are designed, developed and specified, culminating in a presentation to a panel of external assessors. This is a significant project, and the design solution and development processes will be central to graduates’ portfolios. Design solutions are presented as high-resolution models or prototypes, supported by a comprehensive description of the research and development process.
