Organisational Behaviour

A theoretical and practical examination of the behaviour of people in the work environment. Students develop a basic understanding of individual behaviour and team dynamics, exploring issues of motivation, communication, leadership, decision making, power and organisational change.

In this course, students are expected to learn about characteristics and behaviours that influence organisational performance. These include individual characteristics, social and team processes, organisational processes, and external contextual factors that affect organisations. Students are expected to synthesize these four groups of characteristics and behaviours to understand their potential impacts on organisations.

  • 4 Analyse organisational behavioural issues in the context of organisational behaviour theories, models and concepts.
