This session will introduce you to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and how your research metrics contribute to the SDGs within the Sustainability Rankings (Times Higher Education Impact Rankings and QS Sustainability Rankings). You will learn how to align your research outputs with the SDGs to maximise your research impact.

An Open Researcher and Contributor ID (ORCID) gives each researcher a unique identifier that distinguishes them and their professional activities from everyone else. It solves the issue of name ambiguity, where people have the same or similar names or publish under multiple versions of their name.

You’ll learn about the Archives' unique collections – from historical records and photographs to publications and documents – and find out how to access these resources, both in person and through our digital platforms. We’ll also have a “guess the object” competition with some weird and wonderful items from the Archive collection.
