The CRECOG Trial – The effect of creatine monohydrate supplementation on cognitive function in older adults.
About this study
This research is the first study of its kind in New Zealand, where a team of scientists from Massey's College of Health will explore the effect of a nutritional supplement on cognitive function in older adults.
Our research will explore whether creatine monohydrate can improve cognitive function in older adults at an early stage. Your contribution to this scientific work will bring new insight into nutritional science and research.
New Zealand is reporting a growing number and high prevalence of Dementia and Alzheimer's in its ageing population. This study aims to bring some dimension to the prevention of these conditions and help keep brain health up to the mark during the crucial phase of life.
