Kuen teaches Business Finance and Corporate Finance in the Masters Programme.  Prior to Massey, Kuen worked for the largest multinational bank in the Southern Hemisphere, Commonwealth Bank Group.  Her research has been accepted/presented at top finance conferences, schools such as EFMA, FMA, CTBC .  She has been selected as a referee for Accounting and Finance, Pacific Accounting Review journals and received numerous university, conference research grants as MURF, SIRCA and international study scholarships.

Additionally, Kuen is in charge of all the teaching assistants (20 staff) in the school and grew up in Colo -i-Suva, Viti Levu, Fiji.
