Airport pick up for international students , Te kohi i ngā tauira nō tāwāhi i te taunga rererangi

The pick-up service is only for international students staying at Massey Halls on the Auckland campus in the suburb of Albany, or our Manawatū campus in Palmerston North.

You must submit a request to be picked up at least 72 hours before you arrive.

Auckland campus airport transport 

Cost

The pick-up cost is NZ$95, to be paid directly to the driver. You can get cash out from one of the many ATMs at Auckland airport.

Service available

In Auckland, the pick-up service is only available at Auckland airport. It is available all year, at any time.

How the pick-up service works

We will book an airport shuttle on your behalf to meet you at the airport and bring you to Massey Halls. The fare should be paid directly to the driver. You can get cash out at the airport.

If your flight arrival time changes, or you need to cancel, please call +64 27 222 8242 at least 72 hours prior to the pick-up time. If you do not cancel, you will have to pay the full amount.

Cost

The pick-up cost is NZ$25, to be paid to the Accommodation Services Office.

Service available

In Palmerston North, the pick-up service is only available at Palmerston North airport.

• For Semester One it is available from 18 February 2024 to 3 March 2024.
• For Semester Two it is available from 7 July 2024 to 21 July 2024.

We will arrange for one of our Accommodation staff to meet you at the airport and bring you to Massey Halls. Payment should be made at the Accommodation Services Office.

Wellington campus airport transport

Unfortunately, Massey does not offer a pick-up service in Wellington.

There are taxis available right outside the airport, adjacent to the baggage claim area.

Local buses to the central city run from a bus stop 10 minutes’ walk from the airport. Tickets can be purchased with cash from the bus drivers, or using a Snapper card.
