Specialist learning facilities
Use world-class facilities to develop your skills and master new techniques. Here are just some of the facilities available on our Auckland campus.
Trading room
The Massey University Trading Room was the first of its kind in New Zealand. It contains Bloomberg financial terminals, a live stock price ticker and information and news screens to give Massey's finance students real-life fund management experience.
Sport and Exercise Science Research Laboratory
This laboratory offers a physiological and biomechanical analysis for many sports and occupational activities. Laboratory staff have experience with a wide range of sports, athletes and occupations.
Speech-language Therapy Clinic
A teaching clinic offering therapy for children and adults who experience communication and eating difficulties. Supervised by specialist staff, students provide assessment and intervention support at the clinic and in the community.
Nutrition and Dietetic Clinic
The clinic combines the clinical, nutritional and research expertise of Massey dietitians and nutritionists, with the enthusiasm and creativity of our dietetics students.
Empathy Lab
When you're fit and healthy, it's not always easy to understand the impacts of long-term illness or ageing. Nursing students wear special suits that mimic what it's like to do daily tasks after suffering a stroke.
Albany Psychology Clinic
Our clinic on the Auckland campus in Albany provides psychological assessment and treatment services for the public. We also offer professional development for psychologists and students.
