Horticultural Production Systems

An interdisciplinary study of the major vegetable and fruit production systems in NZ, and overseas. Different systems and subsystems will be analysed, using indicators including productivity, quality, profitability and sustainability.

Course notes

The final exam will be an online supervised exam using remote invigilation.

All assessment components including the attendance at the on-campus course, field trip, independent data collection for the written report and the oral presentation are compulsory. To pass the course, students must achieve at least 40% in the final exam and participate in group projects.
