Study online
You can study online if you are an international student living outside of New Zealand. For a list of eligible qualifications see the International prospectus (PDF, 3.62MB).
International students living in New Zealand who are on a student visa may be able to study up to 25% of their qualification online. Some international students are either not able to study online or discouraged to study online when in New Zealand. These include Chinese students, students on a scholarship and students with federal aid loans. International students who are eligible to study partially online must study a minimum of 45 credits on campus per semester.
International students on work visas are able to study part-time either online or on a campus. For details see visas for international students.

Tuition fees
When you study with us, you pay tuition fees for international students. If you study a PhD or doctorate, you pay the same tuition fees as New Zealand students. Check the details of fees and how to pay.

Scholarships and financial aid
You can apply for scholarships open to international students. If you have American or Canadian citizenship, you can apply for financial aid towards the costs of studying at Massey. You may also be able to get a scholarship from your home government.
Visas and student insurance
You need a student visa to come to New Zealand to study. You are responsible for your visa but we can help with advice and support.
