Massey wants the best success for your tertiary study – from starting university life to figuring out the support you need and where to get it.

It's not always easy to ask for help or know who to talk to for advice and how to stay on track with your studies. Use these key resources and services to help with your studies and to enjoy your time at the university.

Student care and wellbeing

Your wellbeing is important. Wellbeing can be understood as feeling that you:

  • are satisfied or comfortable with yourself, including your mental and physical health
  • can control a lot of what happens in your life
  • have good relationships with other people
  • can cope with bad experiences and tough times.

If you think it might help to talk to someone about your feeling or changes in your life or study, contact a Massey specialist support service.

You can also contact your students' association for help and advice with advocacy, financial difficulties and more.

Visas, insurance and fees

International students who need help renewing their student visa or Studentsafe insurance can contact the Student Registry team. The team manages the administration for international students across Massey. They can also help with any questions you may have about fees.

The students' association at Massey University is Te Tira Ahu Pae. They represent all students and provide a range of services including representation, advocacy, events and clubs. Their aim is to make sure that you enjoy the best university experience possible.
