English language support
Massey's Te Tumu Whakatipu offers foundation and university preparation pathways, short courses, study tours, and English language and professional tests.
Massey University College can prepare you for a seamless transition into the degree of your choice. They can help you gain the academic and English language skills to succeed at university, and beyond.
Student achievement support
We want to give you the best chance at success with your tertiary study – from becoming part of university life to figuring out the support you need to succeed and where you can get it.
We know that it isn’t always easy to ask for support or to know who to talk to for advice. It is also hard to know if you are on track and if there is anything more you should be doing. To find out where to get help to succeed in your studies, you can reach out to a Student Achievement Coach by email achievement@massey.ac.nz.
Student care
The Student care team helps international and domestic students with their wellbeing. Wellbeing can be understood as feeling, overall, that you:
- are satisfied or comfortable with yourself, including your mental and physical health
- can control a lot of what happens in your life
- have good relationships with other people
- can cope with bad experiences and tough times.
For general help, email: studentcare@massey.ac.nz
If you think it might help to talk to someone about your feelings or changes in your life or study, you can find a specialist support service at Massey.
You can also contact your students' association for help and advice with advocacy, financial difficulties and more.
