Improving quality and safety in the health sector
Health Quality and Safety Commission New Zealand
Between 2015 and 2017, Massey University's Professor Nigel Grigg was a member of the Health Quality and Safety Commission Expert Advisory Group. The group developed a national framework of knowledge requirements for healthcare workers in the area of quality, safety and improvement science. The project resulted in a report which outlined actions to improve the quality and safety of health care in New Zealand.
New Zealand export supply chain strategies

Spring Zhou from Massey University's School of Engineering and Advanced Technology is working on a joint Marsden-funded research project with Auckland University into New Zealand export supply chain strategies.
From 2012-2014 Massey engineering students won the 'Engineers Without Borders' international competition. Teams from Massey regularly win the national competition.
In 2016 the industrial innovation team at Massey won a Special Appreciation Award from the Asia Pacific Quality Organisation (APQO), the professional body for quality-related organisations internationally.
New Zealand Organisation for Quality awarded the Massey quality team their special services award in 2015.NZOQ is a non-profit, professional society dedicated to providing leadership in the adoption of the principles of quality management and best practice in New Zealand.
