Get experience working in a New Zealand organisation while you study at Massey. Intern at a media company, business, government department or sport or arts agency, or at our Office of Global Engagement.

Doing a professional internship during your study abroad or exchange programme will give you valuable work experience for your CV, and serve as one of the four courses you'd otherwise take in a semester at Massey. Each of our internships is worth 15 credits.

Business and communication internships

Spend a semester interning in business or communication in New Zealand Aotearoa.

You'll get placed in a company or organisation that will provide you with an opportunity to work in an area linked to your degree.

Internships are available during Semesters One and Two and open to any study abroad or exchange student with a background in business, management, marketing, communication, media, or journalism. The Business Internship is available on the Manawatū campus. The Communication Internship is available on all three Massey campuses.

Office of Global Engagement internship

As an intern at Massey's Office of Global Engagement, you'll work on projects related to our study abroad and exchange programmes.

You'll join the study abroad and exchange team at our Manawatū campus, and get experience working across a number of internationally-focused projects. The internship is worth 15 credits, and is available in Semesters One and Two.
