All Massey University's Wellington studios and apartments are fully furnished, have wifi internet access and are smoke-free.
Wellington halls and apartments are self-catered, however meal packages are available at the Tussock Cafe on campus (full menu) or the Pyramid or Museum cafes (limited menus).

We will do our best to accommodate your preferences for alcohol-free, single gender, LGBTQ+ or Kaupapa Māori accommodation, as well as dietary restrictions or preferences, and any accessibility needs.
Wifi is available throughout Massey's Wellington accommodation and is included in your contract rates.
All of our apartments have heating.
We clean the communal spaces of our halls but residents must clean up after themselves in these spaces. You are responsible for cleaning your own room/apartment.
Security and safety
All Massey University accommodation facilities have CCTV and 24/7 pastoral care staff. Residents are responsible for their own security and the security of their hall family and are required to keep their apartments/room doors locked at all times.

The activity fee contributes to hall events and activities throughout the academic year.
Cancellations for Whanake hall and Kainga Rua must be received by 19 January 2022 to secure a refund of the bond and activity fee – the administration fee is non-refundable.

You can choose to cook your own meals in the hall’s shared kitchens, or buy a Hospitality meal plan.
Meals are served at Tussock Café, located in the heart of the campus or they can be taken away. The café offers a diverse range of food options, simply order with everybody else but pay by presenting your Hospitality ID card.
Your Hospitality meal plan provides you with a $50 credit for each week of the term from orientation week onwards. If you don't use the full credit each week it will be accrued during study weeks only, and expires on the last exam day of the year/semester.
A discount applies to full-year payment, giving you a total credit value of $1,250 per year.
Hospitality meal credit can also be used at the Pyramid and Museum Cafes, which have limited menus.

We encourage all new international students to live at Massey halls for their first year of study. Our halls provide a supportive, welcoming environment for international students.
Our on-site International Support Staff and the International Student Support Office (ISSO) on Massey’s Wellington campus will help students with any welfare or other issues they may have while studying here.
Massey's Wellington campus accommodation offers accessibility options for those students who require it. Please outline any requirements you have in your accommodation application.
Massey's Wellington halls allow alcohol in rooms only and not common areas. Spirits and hard liquors, and alcohol in large quantities such as beer kegs, crates or casks of wine, are not allowed.
Residential Life Team
Accommodation staff are made up of dedicated professionals with qualifications and experience in education, social work, youth work and customer service, along with a team of Residential Assistants who are senior students. They offer a supportive community environment 24 hours a day, seven days a week. They help to create a positive culture and opportunities to have fun, while making sure our environment is safe for everyone. Staff members and RAs live on site.
