Wait lists for courses
You can apply to be added to a course wait list if your course is full or a selected entry course. Selected entry courses have extra requirements you need to meet to gain entry to them.

Go to the Qualifications and courses tab.

If you have submitted your courses select the change your enrolment link. If you haven't, select the complete your changes link and then the Complete now button in the Course selection section.

On the Course overview page, in the Special requests section, select the Special requests button.

On the Special requests page, in the Course wait list section, select the Course wait list request button.

Complete the following pages to select the course or courses.

Complete the declaration on the Course enrolment page to submit your request.
Special permission
You can apply for special permission to study courses for a variety of reasons. These include:
- if you haven't taken the prerequisite or corequisite courses
- if you want to take a course that is restricted against another course because it is similar in content, meaning you can't study both of the courses
- if you are wanting to study courses offered at a different location to your other courses
- credit limits (for example, you want to take more than the amount of credits allowed at a particular level)
- if the course is not available in your qualification
- late enrolment.

Due dates
Waiver of course prerequisite or corequisite due dates
Special permission applications for waiver of a course prerequisite or corequisite need to be made by the following dates.
