In addition to her teaching and research responsibilities, Dr. Junaid is currently a Mentor for PhD students at the School of Management. She is also a member of the College Board of the Business School and sits on The Foundation Education Programmes Committee (FEPC). She has been a member of the school's Teaching and learning, Research, Bachelors of Business, and student liaison committees.
Dr. Junaid began teaching at Massey Business School in 2018. She holds a PhD in Management from Massey University, an MS in HR and an MBA in Marketing. Prior to joining Massey, Fatima taught management, organisational behaviour and human resource management at various business schools in Pakistan. Dr. Junaid is a published author. She researches in the area of Organisational behaviour & HR with her colleagues in MPOWER. She works in the areas of wellbeing and stress, and traumatic stress due to terrorism; with a focus on contextualizing organisational support to best suit the needs of employees.
I am an interdisciplinary researcher interested in organisational behaviour and psychology. I am working on Stress, Trauma and Support in the organisational context. I also enjoy researching personality, psychological resources and employee outcomes. My focus is on contextualising organisational support to best suit the needs of employees.
My current projects look at: Management capability index; Employee Wellbeing and organisational support; Perceptions and attitudes towards Christchurch March 15th 2019 attack; Terrorism, Job stress, and employee behaviours. Being a pragmatist, my projects are mostly mixed-methods.
