Meet our graduates
Studying at Massey University has played a huge role in helping me to get to where I am today.
Dale Nirvani Pfeifer
Master of Management (Communication Management)
Most master’s programmes focus on the academic learning whereas I found MALP had a strong experiential aspect to it as well. This meant that I could put what I learned immediately into practice.
Dan Walker
Master of Advanced Leadership Practice
The support I received from my supervisors for the research portion of my degree was outstanding. Not only did they ask insightful questions to help me develop my topic and my approach, they provided guidance and moral support for overcoming the challenges that I faced along the way.
Daria Williamson
Master of Management (Human Resource Management)
As a finance student, I really found the resources in the trading room (Bloomberg and Capital IQ) extremely useful. It was exciting being a student fund manager and managing the funds portfolio and all of these extracurricular activities positively reinforced what I was learning.
Hattaf Ansari
Master of Management (Banking and Finance)
“Massey MBA opened up the door to management consulting for me in 1998; Since then, I have never changed the course of the journey which brings me not only career achievement but also life satisfaction.”
Jack Lim
Executive Master of Business Administration
During the Massey MBA we were taught knowledge, but more importantly we were taught how to apply that knowledge in a systematic and practical way. Learning to think critically meant I knew what to do when I was in new situations. I knew the right questions to ask, to help me decide which steps to take.
Kevin Wang Gang
Master of Business Administration
My favourite part of studying at Massey were the opportunities that I was given around my work, study and connections with the industry. I felt like I really gained an insight to possible career paths.
Lindsay Eastgate
Master of Management (Human Resource Management)
I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Massey. I experienced many aspects of tertiary study from living on campus as a first-year student, to studying extramurally while working full time, and then being invited back to lecture an HR paper. The courses I took, particularly in my postgraduate studies, provided an excellent grounding for my career.
Sharon Grant
Master of Management (Human Resource Management)
There is a famous quote by Albert Einstein that resonates well with my experience and MBA journey – “No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it.”
Tia Ashby
Executive Master of Business Administration
With ever-increasing education inflation, a master’s degree would help me stand out from the crowd and give me a longer-term investment in myself.
Tim Graham
Master of Aviation
