Governance Development Programme

Massey University offers customised governance development programmes for large private and public sector organisations. We also offer a one-year governance development programme aimed at serving or emerging directors in co-operative-styled companies.

Our course leaders have many years of experience in this area. We have worked with multiple organisations to develop current and future directors through induction courses, development programmes, networking events, masterclasses or conferences.

    Advanced Certificate in Personal Financial Management 

    This course builds on 'Facilitating Personal Financial Management'. It is for educators and facilitators who will be teaching or facilitating sessions on personal financial management, but do not want to undertake a full degree or diploma programme. Ideal for educators, facilitators and counsellors in financial institutions, teaching institutions, industry training organisations and community service groups.

    Advanced Certificate in Personal Financial Management 

    CAANZ Instructional Techniques Course

    This course is for those training to be a flight instructor. It is a prerequisite for the CAANZ Category D and C initial instructor rating, and is a mandatory requirement before attempting a relevant flight test. You must have a commercial pilots licence to undertake this course. It will provide you with the knowledge, attitudes, skills and techniques to aid you in instructing within the aviation environment.

    This course is ideal for facilitators in organisations such as financial institutions, industry training organisations, youth service providers and community groups who wish to understand how to facilitate sessions and workshops on the fundamentals of managing personal finances.

    This short, flexible financial literacy course is offered in collaboration with industry groups and is suited to those in full-time employment.     Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems

    This course is designed to meet CAA requirements for RPAS operators with little or no aviation experience who want to enter the industry or further develop their understanding of the use of RPAS in the aviation environment. The course is designed to bridge the gap between RPAS operators and aviators to enhance the safety of your operation. It delivers a syllabus centred around safe operating practices featuring hands-on scenarios and practical demonstrations by industry experts.

    Jens has been a CEO and Director in global firms, including more than 9 years for the $1 billion PHARMAC Crown entity, an advisor to Governments and corporate leaders and is also a Licensed Immigration Adviser.

    Dr Suze Wilson has held executive level leadership roles in large organisations, such as Deputy Commissioner, People Capability at the State Services Commission, and General Manager of HR at New Zealand Post. She has also run her own management consultancy and executive coaching business for many years.

    A business psychologist specializing in executive education and personal development, Patricia joined Massey from Henley Business School (UK).
