Dr Tony Carusi BA, MA, PhD

Senior Lecturer in Educational Studies

Doctoral Supervisor
Institute of Education

As a Senior Lecturer of Educational Studies in the Institute of Education, my background in social theory and philosophy informs my research and teaching interests in education theory and policy analysis. My work looks at the commonsensical, unquestioned routines and practices within the field of education, from pedagogy to policy-making, and the historically-situated, discursive processes whereby these routines and practices persist, particularly involving those processes that appear natural in spite of critical resistance efforts.
