School of People, Environment and PlanningI am a lecturer in Security Studies based on the Manawatu campus. I started out my academic journey here at Massey University, where I completed a BA in Politics and Economics, a GradDipArts in Classical Studies, a PGDipArts in Philosophy and an MA in Politics. I also hold a BA Hons (Political Science) from Victoria University and recently completed a PhD in Philosophy at the University of Auckland. My doctoral research was on virtue politics. I have worked at the Centre for Defence and Security Studies since 2014 and have been in my current position since 2019. My research interests include political and security theory, international norms and the ethics of armed conflict.
