Teaching and Supervision

Teaching Statement

Christine's goal in teaching is to provide a nurturing environment that allows students to have an exceptional learning experience and grow intellectually. As an academic, She sees herself as a role model for her learners by earning the Certificate in Adult and Tertiary Teaching (Level 5) in 17 weeks, consisting of 7 papers with 64 credits from the Southern Institute of Technology while juggling teaching, research, and administrative duties. The best part of her day is constantly working with students one-to-one, providing as much support as possible with much-needed pastoral support. Seeing the joy in their eyes when they finally grasp a concept is an ultimate award that led her to teach in the first place.

Graduate Supervision Statement

As an avid researcher, Christine has supervised students in conducting their research projects, including MA and PhD theses. She also has the aptitude to secure internal and external research funds to create opportunities to engage effectively with business audiences. She believes that working as a senior academic would keep that delight going.
