Dr Morshadul Hasan

Morshadul Hasan, PhD, MBA, specializes in finance and accounting, focusing on FinTech innovations (particularly neo-banking and crowdlending), green finance initiatives, financial literacy, and inclusive finance. His PhD thesis from Murdoch University, Australia examined "FinTech for Sustainable Development: An Empirical Study," complemented by a Master's in Finance from Nanjing Audit University, China, where he received the Best Thesis Award and Government Outstanding Student Award. As Senior Lecturer in Finance at Massey University's School of Accountancy, Economics, and Finance (Dec 2025–present), he transitioned from his teaching roles in Accounting and Finance at Murdoch University (Dec 2022–Nov 2025) and Stanley College (July–Nov 2025). His teaching portfolio spans units like Business Analytics, Corporate Finance, Business Valuation, Auditing, Taxation, and other advanced finance and accounting units across undergraduate and postgraduate levels at Murdoch and Stanley College, including unit coordination in several courses. Hasan has presented at international conferences China, Hungary, Thailand, and Bangladesh. His awards include Australia's RTP Scholarship (AUD 296,000 value), Top 2 Scientist rankings (2023–2025), and Jiangsu Government scholarships. He serves on the Editorial Board of the International Journal of Financial Studies and is a reviewer for several leading finance journals.
